It boggles my mind that Australia has worse politics than American. I would expect mandatory voting to make people less dumb politically, not more.

I honestly had no idea hentai was illegal here. I don't think mandatory voting necessarily leads to bad outcomes, we've had it for more than a century. Australia used to be a really nice place, it's only in the past few decades that it's really started going to shit.

I came from Australia tho. I was born in Australia and left at a very young age. I don't know anyone there anymore, and I certainly wouldn't want to move back, but it seems like a nice place to visit
