How can I stop being lazy? I want to shower and brush my teeth every day but I can’t bring myself to do it. Laziness has ruined my life but I’m ready to make changes.

What really helped me was brushing my teeth in the shower before I go to bed every night. It helps me sleep comfily. The regularity causes me to groom myself on autopilot. I didn't "stop being lazy". I exploited my own addictive personality

So you know that not taking care of your body will feel bad long-term? In that case, hold on to that unpleasantness, and remember it every time your brain won't let you take a shower or brush your teeth. Use your past suffering as a threat to your subconscious
Get shampoo and toothpaste you actually like to use. Life's better with teeth.
Don't worry about the showering if you're a shut-in. Do it every couple weeks or just when you feel like it. I just shower whenever I can be bothered to change my bedsheets. But yeah, you should brush your teeth. I do it once a day. Sometimes once every two days. Doing it at all is better than not doing it. Try to do it once every three days for example, if you can manage that, and try to get yourself down to once every 2 days and so on. Make it the first thing you do in the morning, before anything else.
