for some reason I like half life 1 more. I feel like it has more charm and personality. almost all the injokes and memes that came from that franchise are from the first game. plus the soldiers feel a lot more alive than the columbine do. it might be because there was more focus on environmental storytelling than there was on physics engines when they made it.

It would be kind of nice if there was a game based on the dystopic city of hl2.
Kind of like a life-sim. You do jobs for the gov every day and receive your rations.
Kind of like a post-apocalyptic survival game set in a city.
I suppose there could be a story, like in vtmb, where you can investigate phenomenon.
