I don't think you should avoid writing useful software, if you write something of use the primary benefactor is yourself (and your users if your program is free/libre) just do what I do and throw all job offers into your spam box, or better yet set up a spam filter which automatically marks an email containing the J-word as spam, or even better write an AI to detect corporate logorrhea and trash it.
